CREATIVE LEADERS WALK AND TALK
Peak District 2017
The Path Less Travelled, Distilled Events, La Coppola
A Saturday afternoon of walking and talking for entrepreneurs, creative business owners and leaders. Shared ideas and make connections with other inspirational minds on a great walk. The walk of 2-3 hours was led by outdoor expert Tomo Thompson, owner of The Path Less Travelled. He guided us out from the edge of the city of Sheffield to the edge of the Peak District and back again, with a chance to catch some of his own great tales along the way. There was whisky tastings en route with David Wood, owner of Distilled Events. Concluding with a gathering at award-winning La Coppola Italian deli for bread, meat and cheese boards to replenish after the excursion.
Creative brainstorming and connecting in the outdoors. You never know where it can lead…simply it started with a walk.
“What a wonderful afternoon! WalkingWhiskyWellness provided the opportunity to meet interesting creative leaders and the space to get to know each other and share our common purpose. In the month following the walk, I’m in touch with an Ad guy, a social values ace and a potholing aficionado, on some super-interesting potential collaborations! Thank you for the vision to bring people together in a meaningful, inspiring and sustainable way. I feel as though I made friends as well as developing some exciting potential work projects.”
